Ateeq (“we”, “us”) operates a pre-loved fashion marketplace in the UAE. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We are committed to the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

Account details you provide (name, email, password — stored hashed; and optional area, bio, sizes, and phone number); listings you create (photos, descriptions, prices); messages and photos you send to other users; a device push token if you enable notifications; your approximate device location ONLY if you choose the “Nearby” sort, used at that moment to order listings by distance (we do not keep a location history); and basic technical data needed to run the service (session cookie, logs, IP address).
To create and secure your account, show your listings to buyers, enable buyer–seller chat, send the notifications you opt into, show nearby listings when you ask, and operate, maintain, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it to track you across other apps or websites.
Ateeq does NOT process payments between buyers and sellers for items and never holds your money — buyers and sellers arrange payment directly. Optional paid boosts (which promote a listing) are processed by Apple In-App Purchase inside the app, or by Stripe on the web; we receive confirmation of the purchase but never your full card number.
We use trusted providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database & image storage), Vercel (hosting and privacy-friendly aggregate analytics), Google Firebase (push-notification delivery) and Google (Sign in with Google), Apple (Sign in with Apple & In-App Purchase), Stripe (web boost payments), Sentry (crash & error diagnostics), and an SMS provider (only if you verify your phone number). Your public profile and listings are visible to other users. We disclose data only where required by UAE law.
We use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics (Vercel) to understand overall usage and Sentry to capture crashes and errors so we can fix them. This is not used to track you across other apps, and Ateeq shows no third-party advertising.
You can edit your profile at any time, and you can delete your account and all associated data yourself directly in the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. You may also email aioxtm.888@gmail.com to access, correct, or delete your data; we respond within a reasonable period.
Data is encrypted in transit and passwords are hashed. We retain your data while your account is active; deleting your account removes your profile, listings, messages, and related data, except where retention is legally required.
Ateeq is not intended for users under 18.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
