Ateeq (“we”, “us”) operates a pre-loved fashion marketplace in the UAE. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We are committed to the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

What we collect
Account details you provide (name, email, password — stored hashed, optional area and bio); listings you create (photos, descriptions, prices); messages you send to other users; and basic technical data needed to run the service (session cookie, logs).
How we use it
To create and secure your account, show your listings to buyers, enable buyer–seller chat, and operate, maintain, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal data.
Payments
Ateeq does NOT process payments between buyers and sellers and never holds your money — buyers and sellers arrange payment directly. We do not collect or store card or bank details for item purchases.
Sharing
We use trusted infrastructure providers (e.g. Supabase for database and storage, Vercel for hosting) that process data on our behalf under their own security commitments. Your public profile and listings are visible to other users. We disclose data if required by UAE law.
Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete your account and personal data at any time by contacting us at aioxtm.888@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable period.
Data security & retention
Data is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed. We retain your data while your account is active and delete it on request, except where retention is legally required.
Children
Ateeq is not intended for users under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
