Ateeq (“we”, “us”) operates a pre-loved fashion marketplace in the UAE. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We are committed to the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

Account details you provide (name, email, password — stored hashed; and optional area, bio, sizes, and phone number); listings you create (photos, descriptions, prices); messages and photos you send to other users; a device push token if you enable notifications; your approximate device location ONLY if you choose the “Nearby” sort, used at that moment to order listings by distance (we do not keep a location history); and basic technical data needed to run the service (session cookie, logs, IP address).
To create and secure your account, show your listings to buyers, enable buyer–seller chat, send the notifications you opt into, show nearby listings when you ask, and operate, maintain, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it to track you across other apps or websites.
Ateeq does NOT process payments between buyers and sellers for items and never holds your money — buyers and sellers arrange payment directly. Optional paid boosts (which promote a listing) are processed by Apple In-App Purchase inside the app, or by Stripe on the web; we receive confirmation of the purchase but never your full card number.
We use trusted providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database & image storage), Vercel (hosting and privacy-friendly aggregate analytics), Google Analytics (consented visit and traffic-source measurement), Google Firebase (push-notification delivery) and Google (Sign in with Google), Apple (Sign in with Apple & In-App Purchase), Stripe (web boost payments), Sentry (crash & error diagnostics), and an SMS provider (only if you verify your phone number). Your public profile and listings are visible to other users. We disclose data only where required by UAE law.
With your permission, Ateeq stores limited campaign attribution and links a signup or first marketplace action to that visit for a 30-day attribution window. This first-party measurement is used for internal campaign reporting, is not a promise to delete other account records after 30 days, and is not used for cross-site advertising. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visits and measure page views and traffic sources after you consent. Google advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled. You can withdraw analytics consent in Settings; this stops further Google Analytics collection and removes its cookies from this browser. Vercel provides aggregate usage analytics and Sentry captures crashes and errors so we can fix them.
You can edit your profile at any time, and you can delete your account and all associated data yourself directly in the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. You may also email aioxtm.888@gmail.com to access, correct, or delete your data; we respond within a reasonable period.
Data is encrypted in transit and passwords are hashed. We retain your data while your account is active; deleting your account removes your profile, listings, messages, and related data, except where retention is legally required.
Ateeq is not intended for users under 18.
